Dua Lipa is an English musician and singer who was from London United Kingdom on August 22nd, 1995. Dua Lipa signed to Warner Bros Records after a couple of years of work and released a self-titled first album in 2017. It reached third place at the top of the U.K. albums chart and included eight songs, with the most notable being U.K. top-ten track New Rules and Be the One. I.D.G.A.F. Lipa has been awarded the Brit Awards as a British Female solo artist and British debut act in 2018. The album was rated platinum throughout the world. She is the daughter of Kosovo Albanians Anesa Laxha and Dukagjin Lipa. Dua Lipa has Bosnian ancestry through her grandmother. Her ancestors also come from Peja, which is a Kosovo town Peja. The grandparents of Lipa were both historians. Her siblings are Rina and Gjin. The musical influence of Lipa's came from her father, who is the guitarist and singer of the Kosovan The rock band Oda. Her father played music at home, and included songs from David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead The Police Stereophonics. Lipa was only five when she first began to sing.
